Lusha Review: B2B Prospecting Data, Pricing and Who It Fits

Lusha review

Most sales teams do not lack effort. They lack reachable people. You can have the best pitch in the world and still spend the morning bouncing off generic inboxes and switchboard numbers.

Lusha sits inside that workflow. It is a B2B prospecting platform: per its own site, it helps sales, marketing and recruitment teams find verified contact details for the people they want to reach. This review covers what Lusha does, what it costs, who it suits and who should skip it. Figures are from lusha.com and were checked 2026-10-05. Pricing and features can change. If you want to test it first, you can try Lusha free.

What is Lusha?

Lusha is a sales intelligence and prospecting tool. You search for people and companies, and Lusha returns contact details and company information so reps can build lists and start outreach. Per vendor pages, the core use cases are prospecting, list building and enriching existing records with up-to-date contact data. It is aimed at sales teams first, with marketing and recruitment as secondary users.

That matters because Lusha is not a CRM and not an outreach sequencer. It feeds the systems you already send from.

How much does Lusha cost?

As of 2026-10-05, lusha.com listed the following plans. Prices are per user per month; the annual column is the monthly equivalent when billed annually. Check the live pricing page before you commit, because Lusha changes packaging.

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing (per month) Credits per month Seats
Free $0 $0 40 1
Starter $49.90 $37.45 400 1
Professional $69.90 $52.45 600 2
Premium $399.90 $299.95 3,400 5
Scale Custom Custom Custom Custom

Lusha sells access in credits, and the credit math is the real price. Per Lusha’s pricing page, revealing a verified email address costs 1 credit, and revealing a phone number costs 5 credits. So a Starter user’s 400 monthly credits buy up to 400 email reveals, or 80 phone reveals, or a mix. Phone-heavy outreach burns a plan far faster than email-led prospecting, so estimate your monthly reveals by type before you pick a tier.

The credit rules matter too. The Free plan includes up to 40 credits per month with no credit card required. On monthly plans, unused credits roll over and accumulate up to twice the plan’s credit limit. On annual plans, all credits are issued up front, and unused credits reset at the end of the annual cycle. Credits can be added at any time, and if you cancel, your credits stay available until the end of the billing period. Teams larger than 5 users go through Lusha’s sales team, and the Scale plan is fully customizable. See Lusha’s pricing page for the current figures.

What are Lusha’s key features?

Per Lusha’s site, these are the features that decide which tier fits.

Contact search and reveal. Search people and companies and reveal verified emails and phone numbers, at 1 credit per email reveal and 5 credits per phone reveal.

Browser extension. Per Lusha, an extension surfaces contact details while you browse professional profiles and company sites.

List building. Build prospect lists inside Lusha instead of exporting row by row.

Data enrichment. Add missing contact and company fields to records you already hold.

Integrations. Lusha lists integrations with common CRMs and sales tools. Check your stack is covered before you buy.

Recommendations and lookalikes. Per Lusha, the platform suggests similar prospects based on your existing lists and activity.

Buying signals. Per Lusha, the platform surfaces buying signals to help teams time their outreach.

Team and admin controls. The higher tiers add controls that matter once more than a couple of reps are spending credits. To see how these behave on your own data, try the free plan.

On compliance, Lusha states that it operates under GDPR and CCPA and holds ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications, with a Trust Center and an opt-out mechanism. Those are the vendor’s own published claims. Lusha also says its platform is used by more than 1 million users across more than 223,000 organizations, again a vendor-reported figure rather than something we verified.

Who should use Lusha?

  • SDRs and outbound reps. The core job is finding reachable contacts faster.
  • Small sales teams without a data ops person. List building and enrichment are built in.
  • Recruiters. Contact search works for candidate outreach as well as sales.
  • Founders doing their own outbound. The free plan’s 40 monthly credits are a low-risk way to test data quality.
  • Marketing teams building account lists. Company data supports targeted campaigns.
  • Organizations with global prospecting needs. Lusha sells itself on international B2B data. Verify coverage for your specific countries before a big commitment.

Who should skip Lusha?

  • Teams that already own a data platform. If you pay for ZoomInfo or Apollo, overlap is likely.
  • Anyone who needs a CRM or sequencer. Lusha supplies data, not pipeline management.
  • Phone-heavy dialing teams on small plans. At 5 credits per phone reveal, a Starter plan’s 400 credits cover only 80 numbers a month.
  • Very low-volume senders. A free tier or manual research may be enough.
  • Buyers in a single narrow geography. Test the free plan hard first. Coverage varies by region.
  • Anyone who will not check data quality. No B2B database is perfect. Budget time to verify a sample.

Questions to ask before you buy

  1. How many credits will we actually spend? Estimate reveals per rep, per month, split between emails (1 credit each) and phone numbers (5 credits each).
  2. Does Lusha cover our countries and industries? Test with real target accounts.
  3. Which integrations do we need on day one? Confirm your CRM is listed.
  4. How accurate is the data on our segment? Reveal a sample and measure bounce rates.
  5. Who manages credit use? Untracked spending across a team adds up.
  6. Monthly or annual billing? Annual billing lowers the per-month price, but credits are issued up front and unused credits reset at the end of the annual cycle.
  7. What happens when credits run out? You can add credits at any time, or upgrade; know the top-up rules before a campaign peaks.
  8. Do I need Scale controls? Admin, customization and sales-led setup sit on the Scale plan, and teams over 5 users go through Sales.

The verdict

Lusha is a solid pick for outbound teams whose bottleneck is contact data rather than messaging. The free plan makes it easy to test, the pricing and credit costs are published, and the feature set covers search, lists and enrichment in one place.

The catch is that value lives or dies on coverage in your segment, and on the credit math. Phone numbers cost five times what emails cost, so a calling-heavy team can outgrow a mid-tier plan quickly. Run the free plan against your real account list before you pay anything. Get started with Lusha if the data checks out. Skip it if you already pay for a data platform or your market is one Lusha covers thinly.
